Arrival to Windsor

Having left the mystery of rocks behind at Avebury we headed into London . . well, at least that direction. The goal was to catch Windsor Castle before it closed. The rain had not let up and so we struggled with umbrellas on the busy streets as we made our way to Windsor Castle.

We weren't too lucky as we missed the last admittance by 15 minutes. Not to worry though, this gave us ample opportunity to photograph the exterior of the castle and explore a little of the local area.

While exploring the general vicinity, we ran across a statue of Queen Victoria so of course we needed to pose for pictures

We also found a little crooked house tucked among the business of the retail district

We ran across the bowling club in the middle of quite the festive game despite the rain

We were all exhausted from the earlier activities of the day and so opted to head out to find our hotel and a much deserved rest.

As is typical for us, however, there are more pictures to view. If interested, please watch the slideshow below.
